We use TutorCruncher (our management platform) powered by Stripe (our secure payment processor) to process all payments.

1. Payment after each session

Immediately after each lesson concludes, your tutor logs the session, and an itemised invoice will be generated and emailed directly to you.

2. Our 48-Hour Courtesy Window

Because your tutor works hard to prepare and deliver tailored lessons, we kindly ask that invoices are settled within 48 hours of the lesson ending.

3. Make it Effortless: Set Up Auto-Pay

The easiest way to ensure your tutor is paid on time is to save your card details securely on your TutorCruncher profile.

  • Your card will only ever be charged after a lesson has successfully taken place.

  • You will still receive an invoice breakdown every time.

  • It completely eliminates the hassle of manual bank transfers each week!

Frequently Asked Questions

Eudaiton Education

Client Payment Policy

1. The Agency Model & Split Payments

Eudaiton Education operates strictly as an Employment Agency (as defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973). We introduce independent, self-employed tutors to clients.

  • All lesson fees are processed securely via our third-party integrated payment processor (Stripe Connect).

  • When you pay an invoice, our system automatically executes a split payment: the tutor’s fee goes directly to the independent tutor, and the agency’s commission fee goes to Eudaiton Education.

2. Payment Terms & The 48-Hour Rule

To ensure fairness to our independent tutors and allow them sufficient time to prepare for scheduled sessions, all invoices must be settled promptly.

  • Invoicing: Invoices are generated automatically via our platform (TutorCruncher) following a scheduled session or block booking.

  • Payment Window: Clients must settle all invoices within 48 hours of issuance.

3. Consequences of Late Payment (Right to Withhold Service)

Tutors introduced through Eudaiton Education are independent contractors who manage their own schedules and workloads.

  • If an invoice remains unpaid after the 48-hour window, the platform will flag the account as overdue.

  • Right to Pause: The independent tutor reserves the absolute right to withhold their services and cancel or pause the next scheduled session until the outstanding balance is cleared in full.

  • Eudaiton Education and its tutors are not liable for any disruption to the student's academic progress or exam preparation caused by sessions paused due to non-payment.

4. Failed Card Payments

If you have a saved payment method on file and a transaction fails, you will be notified automatically. It is the client’s responsibility to update their payment details within the 48-hour window to prevent the tutor from pausing upcoming lessons.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

At Eudaiton Education, we operate a balanced cancellation policy to protect the schedules of our families and the livelihood of our independent tutors. Because our tutors dedicate time to prepare bespoke lessons and reserve exclusive slots, we enforce a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

If a Parent Cancels a Lesson

  • More than 48 hours' notice: No charge. The lesson can be rescheduled or skipped, and no invoice will be generated.

  • Less than 48 hours' notice (or a No-Show): Late Notice cancellations are subject to the Tutor’s discretion regarding billing. Depending on the notice given, the lesson may be invoiced at either the half or full standard rate. Once issued, the standard 48-hour payment window will apply. This policy ensures our tutors are fairly compensated for their preparation time and the reserved time slot, which cannot easily be filled at short notice.

If a Tutor Cancels a Lesson

  • Our tutors are professionals and rarely cancel. However, if a tutor must cancel a lesson, you will not be charged, and we will work swiftly to arrange a make-up session at your convenience.

If a Tutor Cancels a Lesson:

  • Our tutors are professionals and rarely cancel. However, if a tutor must cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours' notice due to an emergency or illness, you will not be charged, and we will work swiftly to arrange a make-up session at your convenience.

How to Cancel:

All cancellations must be submitted directly through the TutorCruncher platform or by messaging your tutor directly at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made via our main office email outside of working hours may not be processed in time.
