What to Expect
10+ years of GCSE expertise. Taleisha combines deep subject knowledge with an examiner’s eye for detail. She excels at pinpointing exactly where a student is struggling and translating complex literary concepts into actionable skills. From initial assessment to final revision, she guides students to showcase their full potential on the page.
Rich Knowledge
At this stage of development, a teenager's decision-making is often driven by emotion. That’s why we prioritise building a trusting, accepting relationship with every student. By creating a supportive environment, we ensure pupils feel safe to embrace their mistakes and confidently overcome their academic challenges.
A Friendly Approach
Learning is a journey, not a lecture. We put practice and reflection at the heart of every lesson. We’ll help you dive in, evaluate your progress, and refine your approach. The best way to grow is to try, learn from the results, and try again with more confidence.
Highly Interactive Lessons
Meet Your Tutor - Taleisha Hutton
I’ve been closely working with young people since 2011 in a variety of roles. I qualified as a Secondary English Teacher in 2017, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students discover their confidence and reach their full potential in English.
I have a strong track record of engaging pupils who often find English challenging or disengaging, helping them make real progress in both GCSE English Literature and Language. I believe that every student learns differently, which is why my approach is always holistic and tailored to the individual.
When I work with a student, I don’t just focus on passing exams — I focus on building skills for life. My goal is to give each learner the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to understand, express themselves, and achieve excellence.
I’m passionate about breaking things down so that every pupil can truly understand and enjoy what they’re learning. Having previously studied LLB Law, I also place a strong emphasis on developing analytical skills — something I believe benefits students not only in their GCSEs but in whatever path they choose to take next.
Above all, I want my students to feel supported, capable, and inspired to believe in themselves.
