Eudaiton Education Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the provision of online tutoring services between the Eudaiton Education (our company) and the Student/Parent/Guardian (Client). By booking a session, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payment Agreement

  • Booking requirement - Sessions must be booked and scheduled via the ‘Wise’ Educational platform a minimum of 48hours in advance of the desired session time.

  • Payment - Full payment for all tutoring services is required in advance to secure the booking. Payment is exclusively accepted via Stripe at the time of booking.

  • Punctuality (Client) - Fees will not be adjusted or prorated due to late arrival by the student(s) or early termination of a session initiated by the student(s). The session will conclude at the originally scheduled time.

  • Punctuality (Tutor) - Any lost time due to the late arrival of the Tutor will be compensated by extending the lesson by the amount of time lost, to be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

  • Scheduling Changes - Any mutually agreed changes to the session schedule must be communicated and confirmed by both the Tutor and the Client a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

2. Online learning Environment

All tutoring sessions are conducted remotely, and the Client is responsible for ensuring the technical and physical readiness of the student.

  • Platform -  All tutoring sessions will take place remotely via Zoom using the ‘Wise’ Educational Platform.

  • Study Environment -  It is the Client's responsibility to ensure the student participates in a quiet environment that is conducive to online learning (free from distractions, clear workspace).

  • Session Interruption (Client Fault) - If the connection is lost due to the Client's technical fault and cannot be re-established during the session, the session will be deemed complete, and the full fee will still apply.

  • Session Interruption (Tutor Fault) - If the connection is lost due to the Tutor’s technical fault and cannot be re-established, the remaining session time will be rescheduled to a mutually suitable date and time at no extra charge.

  • Immediate Feedback - To facilitate real-time feedback on written work, the Client must ensure the Student can promptly take a picture of their work and send it to the Tutor during the session.

  • Video Presence -  It is expected that student cameras are active throughout the live sessions to maximise engagement and effective teaching.
